Cedars of Lebanon

I am a tree planted by the water’s edge.
I’m flourishing; I reach up high and touch the clouds.
My leaves are green every season.
My roots in the stream are the reason.

I am a tree unswayed by any anxious thoughts.
It’s not what I see that gives me such a confidence.
I will not fear when the heat comes.
I will not fear when the drought comes.

Cedars of Lebanon: beautiful.
Cedars of Lebanon: beautiful.

I am called righteous because of what the Lord has done.
My branches bear fruit and spread to give shade from the sun.
Nothing on earth can move me.
I am a tree planted firmly.

Cedars of Lebanon: beautiful.
Cedars of Lebanon: beautiful.
